Sumzy ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Sumzy — a math learning application for kids on iOS ("the App") — handles information.

Sumzy is designed with privacy as a foundational principle: the App operates entirely offline, stores all data exclusively on your device, and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with us or any third party.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Sumzy is a completely offline application. We do not collect, receive, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers — because we have no servers that receive your data. Specifically, Sumzy does not collect, process, or transmit:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, IP address)
• Device identifiers or advertising identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
• Location data
• Camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or calendar data
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers
• Analytics or behavioural tracking data
• Advertising data of any kind
• Any data via third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks

Sumzy makes zero network calls. No data ever leaves your device through the App.

4. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

All data generated through your use of Sumzy is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's native data storage frameworks. This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.

4.1 Math Session History

• Records of completed math sessions (addition, subtraction)
• Scores, answers, and session timestamps
• Progress and performance summaries

4.2 Preferences and Settings

• Difficulty level and operation preferences
• App display and behaviour settings

5. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Sumzy uses no third-party SDKs, libraries, or services. The App is built exclusively using Apple's native frameworks. There are no integrations with advertising networks, analytics providers, social media platforms, crash reporting services, or any other external services.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone — because we do not have access to it. Since all data is stored locally and no network communication occurs, there is no mechanism by which your data could reach us or any third party. We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise transfer any user data.

7. iCloud and Cloud Sync

Sumzy does not use iCloud or any cloud synchronization service. Your data is not synced to iCloud through Sumzy.

iOS's standard device-level iCloud backup, if enabled by you, may include local app data as part of a full device backup. This is outside Sumzy's control and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Security

• iOS App Sandbox — prevents other apps from accessing Sumzy's data
• Encryption at Rest — data is protected by iOS data protection with hardware-level AES encryption on passcode-enabled devices
• No Network Exposure — zero network connections, no server-side attack surface
• No Third-Party Code — no third-party SDKs or libraries

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Data persists on your device for as long as the App is installed. You have complete control over your data:

• Within the App: use the reset option in Settings to permanently erase all local data
• By uninstalling: deleting Sumzy removes all associated data, as iOS removes app sandboxes upon uninstallation

We do not retain any copies of your data. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered by us.

10. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally and never transmitted to us, you have full control at all times:

• Access — all data is visible in the App's interface
• Deletion — delete all data via Settings or by uninstalling the App
• Portability — use iOS device backup features to preserve your data

11. Children's Privacy

Sumzy is designed for children as a math learning tool. Because the App does not collect personal information from any user — including children — no data is transmitted to us or any third party. No account registration, login, or identifying information is requested at any point.

Sumzy complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by operating entirely offline with absolutely no data collection. Parents and guardians can review all data stored locally within the App and delete it at any time via Settings.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top and make the updated policy available within the App Store listing. Your continued use of Sumzy after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
